BCBA MCLE Event – “How to Build and Preserve Goodwill with Trier of Fact”

September 16 @ 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

On September 16, 2022 at noon, BCBA will be hosting Judge Larry Brown from the Sacramento County Superior Court. Judge Brown will be presenting on litigation tactics and “How to Build and Preserve Goodwill with Trier of Fact”.

We welcome you to join in person at Cal Northern School of Law or via Zoom. A Zoom link will be provided earlier the week of the event. Up to one hour of general MCLE credit will be available for attendees.

A short biography of Judge Brown is below:

The Honorable Judge Larry Brown is the Supervising Collaborative Courts Judge, who presides over Sacramento County Superior Court’s model Mental Health Court and related departments. He has been selected as the Sacramento County Bar Association’s “Judge of the Year” for 2022. A former prosecutor and Assistant U.S. Attorney, Judge Brown was appointed to the bench by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2010.  In 2013, Judge Brown helped establish Sacramento’s Mental Health Court and presided over the first-ever re-entry court graduation in 2013. He subsequently launched a Co-Occurring Disorders Court in 2016. Judge Brown’s wisdom, compassion, energy, and good humor have helped make Sacramento County’s Collaborative Courts program a model of how these courts can successfully steer low-level criminal offenders living with mental illness into treatment and supportive services and out of the cycle of jail, emergency rooms and the streets.
